Why Fly SLI?
- SLI has been manufacturing aircraft tachometers since 1977 (Over 30 Years).
- SLI tachometers are the same used by the Cessna, Piper, American Champion and Diamond manufacturers.Benefit: SLI Tachometers have been selected by the OEMs for their accuracy and reliability.
- Precision balanced pointers. Benefit: Allows for smooth needle travel and stabilization.
- SLI tachometers are calibrated and tested in all axis points including inverted.Benefit: This allows for maximum accuracy through the full scale.
- SLI tachometers take over 30-days to manufacture. They are subjected to multiple test parameters put into place to assure performance. During the 30 day process the instrument is put through recalibration processes to allow the magnetic pickup cup to acclimate to its environment through every stage of manufacturing. The instrument “Normalizes” and ages so that all functions work together for the utmost in accuracy. Benefit: Balance, accuracy and consistent indication throughout the entire flight envelope
- Most SLI Tachometers are range marked per the specific aircraft model. Benefit: In stock and no additional cost for custom range markings.
- SLI tachometers were designed from the onset to be used in aircraft and only aircraft. The design was not an offshoot taken from the automobile industry to be used for aircraft like some of the other tachometers on the market. Benefit: SLI factored all the forces of flight in their R&D and manufactured a tachometer that maintains accuracy at any angle of attack or flight loading. Again, you can push the envelope and rest assured your tachometer is indicating correctly.
- Two Year Warranty
